Please see below the call for abstracts for the BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium 2010.

The Undergraduate Lovelace Colloquium is an annual one-day event organised by BCSWomen for female students of computing and IT. Although the day is primarily aimed at undergraduate students the event is also open to those studying on taught masters programmes. Each year it comprises a number of talks from industry and academia, a poster contest for students and, of course, social activities. Held previously in the University of Leeds, in 2010 it will be located in Cardiff University.

To enter the poster competition, simply submit a 250 word plain text abstract describing what your poster will be about. Posters may cover any topic within the field of computer science and/or interdisciplinary studies connected to computing or IT. The deadline has been EXTENDED till Friday 12th February 2010. There will be prizes for the best posters and the travel expenses will be covered. More information is provided at the BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium 2010 website.

It is a fantastic opportunity to show your work, meet some new people in the field and just have some fun, so do enter!
