A talk by Professor Dame Wendy Hall

Prof Dame Wendy Hall is one of the world’s leading computer scientists. She was appointed a Dame Commander of the British Empire in the 2008 UK New Year’s Honours list. She was head of the School of Electronics and Computer Science in the University of Southampton from 2002 to 2007. She was the first person from outside North America to be elected President of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) in July 2008. She was also President of the British Computer Society from 2003 to 2004.

And she is going to give a talk here in ECS targeted to women of our school on Monday 19th April at 5-6pm in Building 58 Room 1003.
